BML/OS

BML/OS is the softwarethat runs the deal.

A platform we built and own. It onboards clients and consultants, then runs the M&A lifecycle before and after the deal, at fund, portfolio company and corporate development level. Everyone on the transaction works in it, so risk, dependencies and value creation are managed one way.

BML/OS mark
01

What you get

01

Certainty and evidence

Every value lever carries an owner, a date and a realised number. Decisions are dated and attributable, so when a buyer asks in two years why something was done, the answer is recorded rather than remembered.

02

Continuity across the lifecycle

Diligence findings, workstreams, TSA creation and exit, risks and dependencies live in one record from before the deal through to the next one. A finding still has an owner eighteen months later.

03

Speed of decision

Sponsor, management, our team and the other advisers all work in the same place, at fund and portfolio company level. Status is a system state, so decisions happen between board meetings rather than at them.

The fifty transactions came before the platform and are not attributed to it. What the platform does is make the next fifty repeatable.

02

Who's it for

Five kinds of buyer, five different problems. Here is what the software does about each one.

03

Through the lifecycle

01

Pre-readiness

BML/OS establishes the baseline: workstreams, owners, risks and the value levers that will be tested later.

02

Diligence

Findings, quantification and value levers are captured in BML/OS so diligence carries straight into delivery.

03

Transition

One plan, one risk register, one decision log across both sides of the transaction.

04

Value creation

Value levers are tracked against baseline, owner and realised effect, not against slideware.

05

Exit

The engagement record becomes the evidence pack: decisions, levers, delivery and realised outcomes.

04

What it does

01

Onboard

Clients and consultants

Engagement set-up, roles, access, FinOps and method live in days, which is what makes a new client fast to start.

02

Run

The whole lifecycle

Diligence findings, workstreams, decisions, TSA creation and exit, risks and dependencies, pre-deal and post-deal, in one record.

03

Prove

Value tracked to cash

Every value lever carries an owner, a date and a realised number, so sponsor and management read the same page.

04

Scale

Portfolio and portco

Used at fund level across assets and inside a single business, by us, the client and the other advisers, so intervention comes early.

05

Inside the record

Not slideware. These are screens from the live product our own people log into every day — and the same product a client logs into alongside us.

Delivery management, portfolio view — Every live engagement in one place, with VIPaC stage, RAG status and open actions tracked against each.

06

The partner stack

One product we own, and partners we chose deliberately.

Ours

BML/OS

The operating system every engagement runs on. Playbooks, value levers, workstream structures and reporting cadence, productised — and configured to each client. No two configurations are identical.

Our partner

ExpertIQ

Applied AI for high-SKU manufacturers, distributors and B2B/B2C retailers. Product, pricing and assortment complexity turned into decisions at machine speed.

Our partner

Quilr

Adaptive guardrails and AI security posture management for shadow AI, prompts and autonomous agents. Trusted by UiPath, Spotnana and Hitachi.

Underneath the AI work

Claude

Twenty-two associates in Anthropic training and certification, and on the path to Anthropic partnership.

Two of the three products are partners, which means we can commit to them in the room and swap them between engagements without owning the roadmap.

07

The work BML/OS was built to run

01

Value identification

We find where the money is — in the diligence, the hundred days, or the value-creation plan. Our operators ask the right questions of the right people until it is a plan the CFO can sign.

02

Workflow redesign

We redraw the commercial, organisational and decision workflows before any product goes in, not after. That is where most AI programmes quietly fail. We don't skip it.

03

Change and adoption

Training, coaching, comms, incentive design, org restructures. Standing up the technology is the easy part. Making it stick is the work.

04

Governance and safety

Guardrails, review cadence and the operating model that keeps AI usage safe as it scales. Not a click-once install, an ongoing operating discipline.

05

Outcome measurement

We wire the KPIs back to the investment thesis and hold ourselves to them. The value only counts if it turns up in the reporting.

08

Accelerated by AI

AI removes the overhead, not the accountability.

We use AI to compress analysis, synthesis and reporting so senior operators spend their time on judgement and delivery. Every output still has a named owner. Twenty-two of our associates are in Claude training and certification, and we are on the path to Anthropic partnership. We decide where AI should go, and where it should not — then we govern it.
